Whenever the term “TECHNOLOGY” hits our mind we all think of mobile phones, laptop, computer, TV and many more other such devices and equipment. Technology refers to the results of scientific process or creation and use of technical means used for practical purpose. We work on different technologies and use it for our access control systems.
Face Recognition
Facial recognition is a method of identifying or verifying the identity of an individual using their face. Facial recognition systems can be used to identify people in photos, videos, or in real-time.
Biometrics
Biometric system is also use to verify the identity of an individual but it uses different forms such as voice recognition, fingerprint recognition and eye retina or iris recognition.
Contactless
Contactless or touchless access control system uses different methods to grant access to a place or resource. Contactless technology uses radio frequency identifica- tion(RFID), near field communication(NFC), CEPAS, SSID –a wireless network name and mobile access.
Technologies of Urban Access Concept
Credential for access evolves with technologies.
The team at MQuest continuously work on technologies to ensure that security is imbued with great user experience.
Face Recognition and Iris Biometrics
Central to Face and Iris Recognition application is the algorithm and the hardware used.
MQuest uses algorithms that perform well on the NIST ranking for its operation.
With high performance hardware, we deliver system that is able to support high availability and accuracy requirements.
Large capacity face template, operating under adverse conditions with weather and vandal proof hardware, the system can be found in all our products.
IOT
Since 2016, we have been offering IOT enabled battery powered door locks and lockers for hotels. They provide connectivity where it is impossible to implement physical cabling.
Mobile Access
Increasing, users rely on their mobile phones. The extension of the mobile phone to entrance control is natural and intuitive.
We provide the capability to use mobile devices to operate entrance control equipment, be it door, or gantries, barriers and turnstiles.
CLOUD
While traditional access control technology is on premise, the presence of newer computing concept is pushing the data to be hosted in the cloud, whether public or private.
This is especially so with the advent of edge computing, where security can be enhanced at front end devices which ensure the security of the architecture.
Private clouds are also increasingly popular due to their low cost and ability to provide simple setup and cloud convenience while maintaining the same level of security.
MQuest partners with LatticeWorks to offer the convenience of the cloud. Without sacrificing their freedom, privacy, and security. Amber X and AmberPRO embody that mission.
NFC
Right from the beginning all MQuest card interfaces are NFC enabled. This allows most of the card issued today to be able to operate with our readers.
SSID and CEPAS
All the readers are CEPAS ready for the convenience of the users. It could be ISO14443A, B or ISO18693. There is no need to carry many different cards.
SSID, the Singapore Standard for Smart Card, allow for a higher security through card verification. MQuest provide 2 SAM Slots in the reader.
